Why do people take drugs?

People take drugs because they like what the drugs do to their brains.

What are some common drugs now?

There are ALCOHOL , COCAINE AND CRACK . ECSTASY , GHB , HALLUCINOGENS , HEROIN , INHALANTS , KETAMINE , MARIJUANA , METHAMPHETAMINE , PRESCRIPTION DRUGS , OTC DRUGS , ROHYPNOL , STEROIDS & TOBACCO.

What are the effects of taking drugs?

-Ecstasy;Ecstasy is similar (in nature) to other amphetamines and hallucinogens. It speeds up the nervous system and acts as a mood enhancer. Also referred to as “the love drug”, Ecstasy often makes the user feel good, happy and relaxed . Contrary to rumors, Ecstasy is not an aphrodisiac and can actually inhibit sexual performance.-CocaineAt high doses , users of cocaine can become erratic , delusional , paranoid , violent , psychotic .

-Ketamine;In large doses ketamine produces effects in humans similar to phencyclidine (PCP) such as dream-like dissociative states and hallucinations. It has a number of contradictory effects, including stimulant, sedative, anesthetic, and hallucinogenic properties. Users describe feeling like they are drunk, stoned, and tripping all at once .

-Heroin;Heroin is a central nervous system depressant, which means it slows down brain function and particularly the control of breathing (which can slow down or even stop). Body temperature and blood pressure drops and the heartbeat can become irregular. A person may lapse into unconsciousness or coma.

My opinions

To me, i think that we should not do harm to our bodies. No one in their right mind would harm their bodies and find it very good. Drugs do sometime makes you HIGH, but there will still be a after effect that will cause you harm. And by the way, Drugs doesn't make you COOL. Worst still, your friends wouldn't want to make friends with you anymore. So, NEVER EVER take drugs.
